To Register

Parents or youth may contact program coordinator directly or call General Inquiry at (204) 940-1260.

When registering, please bring:

  • Manitoba Health Card
  • Immigration papers
  • Social Insurance Card (required for Employment Skills Program only)


Eligibility


Crime Prevention / Youth Mentorship
:
  • Youth aged 12 to 17
  • Living in non-permanent housing
  • Awaiting placement in Canadian school
  • Landed Immigrant or Refugee status

Employment Program
:
  • Landed Immigrant or Refugee status (parents cannot have a working visa)
  • Youth aged 16 and up, attending high school
  • Can be employed or have previous job experience in Canada

Introduction to Canadian Education
:
  • Children and youth aged 6 to 17
  • Living in non-permanent housing
  • Awaiting placement in Canadian school
  • Landed Immigrant or Refugee status

Youth After School Program
:
  • Immigrant and Refugee youth in school, aged 12 to 17 or until high school is completed
  • Landed Immigrant or Refugee status
